Dry Green Beans Curry

Today I made dhar bhatt with dry green beans curry and cucumber raita. The dry green beans turned out great! Here's the recipe.
2 cups fresh green beans
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
Pinch of sanchoro (I think that is Indian baking powder. It helps the beans retain the green color)
2 pinches of asafoetida powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt
Chopped cilantrof or garnish
Shredded coconut for garnish
1. Wash and drain the green beans. When dry, cut the green beans into 3 equal parts. Cut again down center of each piece.
2. Heat oil in frying pan. Add the mustard seeds. When the pop fully, add in the asafoetida powder and sanchoro.
3. Then add in the washed and cut green beans. Stir fry for a bit. Then add in salt and garlic paste. Close lid and turn down heat to medium.
4. Stir fry again and cool unil green beans are tender and crisp. After about 5 minutes, add in the coriander powder and chilli powder and turn off heat.
5. Garnish with chopped cilantro and shredded coconut and keep lid closed until serving time.
Finally, for the cucumber raita:
1/2 cucumber
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup yogurt
1 tsp chopped cilantro
1. Shred the cucumber. Drain the excess water out if you prefer thicker raita.
2. Whisk the yogurt until smooth. Add in the salt, cumin powder, green chilli-garlic paste and chopped cilantro.
3. Mix and then add in the shredded cucumber.
4. Mix everything together one last time and refrigerate until time to eat.
