Garlic Chutney

I have never made this one before, but I thought it might complement the chaat dish I am making tonight so here goes.

6 cloves garlic
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp red chili powder
Pinch of asafoetida powder
Salt to taste

1. Peel the garlic cloves.
2. Then, blend garlic, red chili powder, lemon juice and salt with some water. You want the chutney to be a little thin, but do not add too much water.
3. Voila! Serve garlic chutney along with tamarind chutney and cilantro chutney to garnish most Indian chaats (i.e Ragda Patties, Bhel, Bhel Puri, Misal, Papri Chaat, and Pani Puri, among others).
